What Mascara?

I have long lashes and sometimes I forget my mascara. I just look in the mirror and think, "oh I already put it on," when in fact I didn't. This only happens once in a while as I almost always use my black smudge proof eye liner, in which case, I can tell I don't have the mascara on yet. So today I had tried a new makeup trick with a new color from the Mary Kay mineral eye color line. I used the new Emerald eye color and then used the black eye liner in my water line to create a lovely alluring effect. Of course I followed up with my favorite mascara...the Mary Kay Ultimate Mascara in black. It is the best mascara because you only need one coat while it thickens and lengthens, and the unique applicator separate all your lashes so you don't need to do it (because that is sooo tedious). What metro-chic girl has time for that? You end up with the longest, thickest, most naturally gorgeous looking lashes you've ever had!! So give it a try and let me know what you think. Give A Little, Get A Little

So this post is about giving. In this strange and somewhat dreary economy it is easy to see why many are choosing to not spend as much on themselves, and others, even family, as their wallets get lighter and lighter. However, I would venture to say that when you give little, you receive little. So my friends, now it NOT the time to hold back on blessing others, even strangers, with a gift (be it a small or big one). It is the time to go against our gut reaction to a media driven panic over our diminishing assets, and give generously to others. If we all did this collectively then we would all be blessed, happy, and know without a shadow of a doubt that there is life out there, we are loved, and that everything will be alright. 

  

   This month I am doing my very best to give generously to our US Troops serving over seas, as they tirelessly protect us here at home. You don't have to give to them per se, but do give as much as often as possible to those you know and those in need. It's the little things and the thoughts that count sometimes.
