Give A Little, Get A Little

So this post is about giving. In this strange and somewhat dreary economy it is easy to see why many are choosing to not spend as much on themselves, and others, even family, as their wallets get lighter and lighter. However, I would venture to say that when you give little, you receive little. So my friends, now it NOT the time to hold back on blessing others, even strangers, with a gift (be it a small or big one). It is the time to go against our gut reaction to a media driven panic over our diminishing assets, and give generously to others. If we all did this collectively then we would all be blessed, happy, and know without a shadow of a doubt that there is life out there, we are loved, and that everything will be alright.

This month I am doing my very best to give generously to our US Troops serving over seas, as they tirelessly protect us here at home. You don't have to give to them per se, but do give as much as often as possible to those you know and those in need. If you'd like to join the "Sunscreen For Soldiers" project you can contact me, even if it's only a nice thank you note written on lined school paper to our troops. It's the little things and the thoughts that count sometimes. Thanks in advance for choosing to be generous with more than your criticism about a downward spiraling economy, and going against the tide, in a valiant way, to restore the idea of hope in American hearts. God bless you. Love & Belief, Leah  marykay.com/leahslemmons
